Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 1975, died in 1970) is a popular American actor. She is most known for portraying Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter in NBC's drama Providence. Her work also garnered acclaim due to her dramatic television debut in the role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. Some of her most notable films are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film by Vlas Parlapanides (the team who invented the Immortals) is believed to be in the works. They are also shooting an upcoming series called Gods & Heroes.
